  • Provided legal advice on the regulatory regime affecting, pensions, employee benefits, termination of Employment, change of control of corporations and liability consequences in the Caribbean jurisdictions

Legal Counsel, Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), 2002 to 2006 and 2009 to 2010

  • Policy development:
  • Worked with management and policy units in developing various policies for publication by FSCO
  • Reviewed and drafted polices in respect of the application and interpretation of legislation
  • Meet with stakeholders to review policies and respond to concerns raised by advisory committees and stakeholders.

Legal:

  • Provided legal advice to the Financial Services Commission on regulatory compliance in the performance of its regulatory mandate in respect of the pension plans in Ontario.
